Wow, what a month! I didn't know a baby would hit so many milestones in such a short amount of time! It seemed like within a week you were sitting yourself up, inchworming your way around, changing your nap schedule, and screeching every time I walk out of your sight as if it's the last time you'll see me. You are showing all the signs of teething, and it looks like there are a few chompers on the bottom that are giving you grief, but they haven't broken through the gumline quite yet. In the meantime, baby Tylenol and teething toys will be good friends of ours.

Moving around is your favorite thing. It is so fun to watch you realize that you can do more things, but unfortunately that means you can get to places we would rather you not get to, such as outlets and cables, which look just so chewy and delicious. You also seem to find every single speck of crud on the floor, which means I will have to vacuum quite a bit more now. You still sleep great at night, but naptimes have made your mommy quite frazzled. But this too shall pass.

When I pick you up, you also grip me like a super-monkey, probably to ensure that I won't put you down any time soon. You love to be held, and now that you can get around, sometimes you try to crawl right into a parent's lap. You love the water, and to eat. In fact, as soon as you see a bottle in our hands, you usually completely spazz out, which is hilarious.
Your personality is really coming out now, and we love it!
