Summer 2015: Part 2

A continuation of our summer for the month of July:

We went to the Dunnaway (Brent's mom's side) final family reunion in Alabama, and good times were had by all (in spite of the rainy weather.) This is the final reunion because Brent's grandparents, who own this lakefront property, are moving to Denver this month.

Caleb LOVED blowing the bubbles everyone bought for him

This pool was the perfect thing to keep Caleb entertained

Three generations

Not sure if Caleb is happy or sad here...

More bubbles!

All the boys got these classy tank tops

Brent's amazing cousin Summer made this memory book for the grandparents as a way to remember all the fun reunions at the Lake. There were many tears shed, and it was a great way to end the reunions on a happier note

Cute little cousin Nate!

"Wait, take it again, I think I blinked."

The difference between boys and girls:
*Comes across floating lantern at store*
Girl: "Oh how romantic! Just like Tangled!"
Boy: "We should launch this off the dock and shoot Roman candles at it until we crash it in the lake! It will be so cool"

Blueberry picking. Caleb was a big fan.

Love this shot!

And this one

After Alabama, we shot off to California to see my sister's family and parents.

We had lunch at the airport where they had this awesome cafe. You could watch the planes take off while you ate. Caleb, of course, loved it.
Look at those cuties!
They had this little play runway for the kids...and "bigger" kids ;)
A trip to the farmers market was enjoyed
And we had to go to the beach!
Caleb was right at home surrounded by all that water and sand!
The cousins weren't quite sure what to think of each other
A second beach trip was made! Look at these couple of babes!
Obligatory beach nap
LOOK AT THAT FOOT. JUST LOOK AT IT. I COULD EAT IT UP.
Boys just wanna have fun!
Aaaaaaw
"Soda?!"

Caleb LOVED seeing the bubbles that came up out of the sand
I'm not sure what makes me laugh more, the obvious height difference between my husband and mom, or Caleb in the foreground snitching my moms Diet Coke
Forgive my intrusive thumb. We are trying to find other more appropriate outlets for it so it won't demand so much attention.
I just cannot get over how much Caleb looks like his daddy here.

Fun at my Uncle Dave's house--Dave was so excited to have an excuse to pull out the Hot Wheels toys!
Caleb with his great-grandparents! (Some of the very best people I know!!!
